Special event: Prof. Andy Wood, 1 February 2012

December 13th, 2011 | James M

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Andy Wood from the University of East Anglia will be coming to speak to the Early Modern Discussion Group at the University of Sheffield on Wednesday 1st February 2012, at 3pm in the Humanities Research Institute conference room.

He will be giving a paper entitled:

‘Popular memory and vernacular landscapes in early modern England’.

This session will be run along the lines of a research seminar, rather than following our more typical discussion-based format.

We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend. Visitors from universities other than Sheffield are very welcome to come.

Have a good Christmas,

James Mawdesley and Richard Scott.
